Ribbons for 2016 Donation Quilt

Country Fare Quilter’s Guild received three fantastic ribbons on the 2016 Donation Quilt “Everything’s Black and White” at Muskogee Area Quilt Guild’s annual quilt show last month: First Place in the Group Category, Judge’s Choice, and Viewer’s Choice. The quilt was put together by members Linda Hertensteiner and Paula Klaassen with 2015 Fabric Challenge blocks created by various guild members and then machine quilted by guild member and President Judy Haines. The quilt will be given away at our annual  “Autumn Leaves” Quilt Show in October, 2016 (exact date pending). Tickets can be purchased from guild members or at one of our regular guild meetings. Congratulations, guild members!

Country Fare Quilter’s Guild’s 2015 donation quilt “Because of the Brave” won Best of Show, Best Machine Quilting, First Place in its category, and Viewer’s Choice at the Muskogee Area Quilt Guild’s “Quilted Dreams” quilt show this past weekend. A very special Congratulation goes to Judy Haines, who set the blocks together and did the extraordinary machine quilting. Congratulations and thank you to all guild members who created a block for the quilt during our 2014 Fabric Challenge. We will give the quilt away on Saturday, October 17th at our annual quilt show. Tickets are available at our regular guild meetings or from guild members.

Oklahoma Winter Quilt Show 2013

Visit us at Quilt Tulsa 2012

Country Fare guild members are excited about the Quilt Tulsa 2012 quilt show Fri., June 8th and Sat., June 9th hosted by Green Country Quilters Guild of Tulsa, OK. Our members will sell chances on our beautiful donation quilt and can answer questions and provide information about our guild and our October quilt show, so be sure to stop by our booth while you’re at the show. There will be 400 quilts on display, a huge vendor mall, a basket walk, and lots to do. Oklahoma City Winter Quilt Show

Join Country Fare Quilter’s Guild members in Oklahoma City this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the annual Oklahoma City Winter Quilt Show. Ricky Tims, Pam Clarke, and Heather Thomas are the featured guest stars for 2012. More quilts are promised this year, along with a huge vendor mall, demos, and “SEW much more.” 

While you’re there, be sure to visit a special quilt exhibit by our own members Joe Galusha, Gary Wasson, Diane Strickland, and Sue Semler. Come by and say hello to Country Fare members who will be selling raffle tickets on our 2012 raffle quilt, as it debuts at this show. Lots of fun! Hope to see you there!
