2024 Challenge Quilt
“Star Struck”
Country Fare Quilter’s Guild’s 2024 Challenge Quilt “Star Struck” was created by guild members Phyllis Stearnes and Richelle Helbig using blocks previously made by various guild members during our 2023 Fabric Challenge and the quilt was professionally machine quilted by Ann Olson. The quilt will be given away at our annual “Autumn Leaves” Quilt Show on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Tickets are available at our guild meetings and at the quilt show.
2023 Fabric Challenge
Each year the guild issues a challenge to our members to create blocks using a chosen fabric(s) within a given theme. The completed blocks are displayed anonymously at our annual quilt show and voted on by the public. Viewer’s Choice ribbons are awarded accordingly. The guild’s Challenge Quilt for the following year is then created with the Fabric Challenge blocks.

2023 Challenge Quilt
“Nature in Flight”
Pennie Savage was the lucky winner of Country Fare Quilter’s Guild’s 2023 Challenge Quilt “Nature in Flight” on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at our annual “Autumn Leaves” Quilt Show. The quilt was created by guild members Shirley Cowan and Kim Neall, using blocks made by various guild members during our 2022 Fabric Challenge and beautifully machine quilted by Kim Neall. Congratulations to Pennie!
