Regular monthly Guild Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 9:45 a.m. and include a program, Show & Tell, and a short business meeting.
Informal, hands-on Bee Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 9:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for fellowship and to work on individual or community projects, to help one another, and/or to share new techniques.

June Bee Meeting – Thursday, June 13 following Guild and Lunch
This month’s Bee meeting will follow the Guild Meeting, Quilt Show Meeting, and a lunch break. Ann Underwood will teach a lesson on hand applique and will provide a free kit for those who want to try this skill. We will also work on the Burrito Pillowcase Project. Please bring 2 (1 yard cuts) of coordinating Kid Print fabrics, if you plan to participate. Of course, you’ll need sewing machine, thread, etc.

Annual Anniversary Luncheon: Salad potluck and Bingo with prizes. Please bring a dish, along with the recipe for the guild cookbook, and join in the fun. We will also collect Love Project donations (adult bibs, aprons, walker bags, and lap quilts).

Program: “Appliqué Techniques” by Phyllis Enos.
Afternoon Workshop: “Needle-Turn Method of Hand Appliqué” by Phyllis. We will learn to make stem and leaf from one piece of fabric using a cut-away method. Also tips for stitching on tiny pieces of the appliqué. We’ll also learn and make a multi-petaled, raw edge flower with ruched center to complete a flower. Class-intermediate or beginner with lots of hand sewing experience. Sign-up sheet will be available at the July Luncheon. $25.00 & Supply List

Meat will be provided; please bring a dish, along with the recipe for the guild cookbook, from one of these choices: salad, casserole, vegetable, appetizer, or dessert. We will also collect Love Project donations (adult bibs, aprons, walker bags, and lap quilts) and non-perishable items to fill the church’s food pantry. Everyone who brings items for the pantry will be entered in a drawing for a splendid prize.
